Manatee T-shirt Pillow ♥

Hey everybody,

I've been gone for so long! I'm so ashamed...|▽//)

Anyways, I got something to share with you all and that's my first hand sewn pillow! Well more like T-shirt Pillow, but nonetheless still a pillow.

Made the pillow for my Mom on her birthday with the t-shirt that my Grandfather used to have. He passed away this year and in memory of him (and to cheer up my Mom) I used one of his t-shirts that happened to have Manatees on it. Don't know if you guys remember, but Manatees are my Moms fave (♡˙︶˙♡).

I kinda had trouble in the beginning. I went Edward scissor hands on the shirt before I actually knew what I was doing and cut right through both pictures almost destroying the gift and this precious shirt. But I was able to pull through and put duct tape...(that's right I said duct tape) behind the ruined pieces. And so the gift and shirt were saved and it came out like this:

So happy you can't notice my epic fail. (✧∀✧)

I used plain white fabric for the inside as a liner since the shirt was kinda flimsy and to keep the pillow from looking bulky from the filling. Was glad that in the end it came out great and my Mom totally loved it.
