Hey everyone,
I was watching a lot of youtube videos of how to make cute fruit and veggies into plushies and wanted to give it a try. I've been making a lot of like almost 2 dimensional plushies with stuffing, but haven't tried making anything with more form. I had came up with an idea of making a cute egg. It seemed like a safe and easy shape to try.
Boy was I wrong. Haha
Also, I was tempted to take pictures of the progress for this plushie but I'm glad I didn't. Instead of progress it would have looked like a timeline of epic fail. Lol
So, I started with tons of confidence and felt pretty good about this. Until when I had cut everything out and started sewing I found out that the shape I made wasn't correct. But that
wasn't too bad. I could get around that. It would be a unique egg right?
WRONG...as much as I tried the shape was totally wrong and where I had sewn the face
and detail made my egg look like a white-fat-ball-dumpling thing.
I went around the house and asked everyone what it looked like to them. I got tooth and turnip....
Yeah, very different from what I first had envisioned.
But, I was determined to make it the cutest turnip ever. So here's how it turned out:
At least its cute. Haha
Anyway, thanks for reading my post and being here on my blog.
Take example from my mistake and remember that everything can turn out okay in the end even if its not how you wanted.
God bless and take care!
