Baby Request!

Hello everyone,

I recently got a request to make a baby plushie for a baby shower. It was a special request,
 because one of my Mom's colleagues became a grandmother.

The plushie overall wasn't so difficult. I tried to make it as cute as possible and I think it came out okay.

But there is one thing that I must share about the process. They had one specific detail that the plushie had to have. The detail put me in a tough spot because 1. it was embarrassing and 2. I haven't seen one in years.....literally. The last time I saw one was when I changed my last boy cousins diaper. His age now is 16........let it sink in....yes if you've figured it out they wanted the plushie to have privates. OH..MY..GOSH!

Boy was the privates part the longest process. At first I just thought of sewing on the detail which wasn't much and that would be fine. But it wasn't. The people of the office and my Mother wanted the privates to stick out and be more noticeable. Sigh...let's just say when I was done everyone was satisfied. YAY!!

Well I hope you like how it turned out. I think this plushie was a fun yet embarrassing experience. 

Here's to hoping everyone gets inspired to make something out of their comfort zone. It just might be worth it.
