Hamtaro's Penelope...

Hey everyone,

I finally made a cellphone plushie! Yayyyy!

I decided to give my first cell plushie to my sister for her birthday. Her birthday is on the 25th of this month, but she caught me making it so I gave it to her early instead of on her actual b-day...sigh...oh well.

Anyway, with my sister's birthday in mind I wanted to make something cute and tried to think of some inspiration. So I tried to remember anime shows I had seen when we were younger that had cute characters and the anime Hamtaro came to mind. I remembered how cute the hamsters were and remembered that my favortie was Oxnard. Oh the memories....

So with Hamtaro in mind I looked up images on google. While looking, my sister pointed out that one of her favorites was Penelope. When I found that out I decided that Penelope was the one I would make.

I used this image that I found which I thought had depicted the characters in a much cuter way. Here's the image:

I have to thank Melissa Caruso for making the hamsters look so darn cute. 

Anyway, I tried my best to make the plushie look just as cute as the image and I think I didn't do to bad.

To me really it looks like a cute yellow ghost with bear ears, but my sister loved it so that's all that mattered.
