Hi everyone,
I don't know about you guys but its been cold here in Flo. da for two days now and I'm loving it. The rest of my family isn't, but I can't help it I'm a december baby. Haha
Anyways, the next three plushies I will be posting are in my opinion my favorites. I had a lot of trouble making them because they were for my mom, sister, and brother. It was hard because they kept coming into my room asking "hows it going, how much do you have left, which one are you making..." I stayed up until the wee hours of the mornìng fighting the attack of being crosseyed to make these guys. So without further ado here's the story that inspired me to make my brother a ninja....
Okay while I was making the plushies for my grandma and aunts my brother really liked the Takoyaki from Aiko. If you guys remember that's the only one he thought was cute. Well he told me that if I was going to make him one I should make the Takoyaki for him too. I said okay at first, but then I eventually changed my mind. I really liked making my own plushies and also thought the Takoyaki was a little girly for him so I had to think for a long time what to make.
I wanted at first to try and make my own Domo for him but remembered that he didn't really like him. Then I remembered that when my little brother was younger he went through this ninja faze and he tried doing all kinds of things. So with that memory I thought perfect a ninja is what I'll make.
When I made the ninja I had trouble at first because I only used black felt for the body and just a retangle of beige for the face along with the eyes, blush and mouth. It looked a little plain so I thought of maybe using white string to put more detail for the clothing.
In the end it turned out really cute. My brother really liked it even though he said I should have made the face a little more menacing instead. Haha
Heres what my ninja looks like:

Thank you everyone for taking the time to read my post. I really enjoy sharing with you guys my stories about how my plushies came about. I hope you enjoyed them so far and get inspired to make your own. Maybe a memory will spark some creativity who knows.
Thanks again and God Bless!
