Hello everyone!
Today I'll be posting the plushie I made for my Aunt Eli.
Now when it came to making a plushie for my aunt I had no idea what to make. I knew very little of the things that she liked. If I remember for my uncle's wedding we wore like a pastel yellow for the dresses because that was the color my aunt chose. Unfortunatley I only had this highlighter color yellow and that wasn't going to work. I did know what she didn't like though, frogs, dogs or any animal really, and the color pink.
So I went back to Aiko Miyoko's pinterest and found lots of cute things but none really stood out for her.
In the end I decided to make something unique looking so I picked the Shappo plushie. I don't know if I was the only one that has never seen it before but it was different and cute at the same time. I did see that it had lots of pink haha but was hoping she would still like it.

I was happy that Aiko again made a nice pattern for everyone to use so I gladly used it. I only had the few colors like I said before so I had to make it different than it looked in the tutorial. Also the face to me was so cute, but I changed that too with what I had and made it with a cuter face so my aunt would accept it without going eww pink haha.
I think it turned out really cute. At the time while I was making the plushies for christmas I kept going around my house asking everyone if they looked cute. Haha I remember my brother kept saying that the Shappo bunny looked weird. I ignored him saying he didn't understand cute and left. Haha
Anyway, heres what it looked like:
This is before I stitched it all closed with a blanket stitch.
The finished plushie :)
I kept thinking it looked like a Shappo cookie but I think that was just me.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post. May you get inspiration to create your own little Shappo cookie haha.
God Bless and take care!
