I'm back again with more of my plushies. All the plushies that I will be posting are the ones I made as gifts for christmas. There are a total of 8 I think.
Anyways, the next plushie was for my baby cousin. She's 7 turning 8 this year so huge age difference between me and her but that didn't matter because we get along really well. So for her I had a tough time because I didn't know what to make for her. I had gone through a lot of videos for ideas. Had found one of how to make a Lalaloopsy from socks and thought...Wow! Awesome just the thing for her. Then you know how your brain becomes your enemy because it's like, but wait does she still like Lalaloopsy, would she even want a handmade plush...sigh...yeah cruel brain.
So I had to go on another adventure in google images to get an idea that was to cute for my cuz to pass up. I came across a pic of a cute little bunny from a pinterest page. Followed it and found (Who I think is an awesome creater) Aiko Miyoko's page. She had some of the cutest ideas from clothes to accessories and lots of plushies. Then I found her webpage and thought awesomeness!! because she had tutorials on everything which made me so happy I almost cried.
The bunny ended up being a notebook type of plush (a Molang Bunny Felt notebook). I thought it would be great as a plushie by itself so I used her pattern she gave and went from there. I have to say this plushie was the easiest of the bunch because it was cute yet really simple. Although the color felt that Aiko used I did not have at the time, I made due with what I had.
Oh and the reason it was named the Pikachu bunny was because of the mouth and overall appearance. In the end Pikachu Bunny or whatever didn't matter because my cuz ended up liking it even though when she opened I remember hearing Oh! its a cute brown Pikachu. Haha
Heres what it looked like:
Thanks again for taking the time to read my ramble of a story. May you get inspired and God Bless!
