Hello once again,
I feel like I have to post all my plushies from christmas fast, because I have a lot of new plushie ideas that I want to begin but can't until I post all my finished plushies.
Also I want to give a quick shoutout to Aiko Miyoko for being so awesome and posting patterns for free on her blogspot. I had such a hard time starting out and looking for some kind of guideline so my plushies can come out looking like a plushie. So many people were asking for payment for patterns and I had no money so when I found Aiko's blog I seriously cried. Thank you for being such a kind person and sharing your fluffies like you call them with the world. Creativity should be shared so again thank you.
Okay onto the plushie. Haha
We have this family friend of my grandmother's that has no family and is a real sweet person. I met her one christmas and loved how kind and sweet she was to us even though she didn't know who we were. She even brought us gifts when she didn't have to.
So with that thought in mind I decided to make her a gift for christmas because I believe everyone deserves some kind of gift on christmas and she had no family to receive any gifts from. Then I remember someone saying she had cats so I decided on a cute cat plushie.
I again went to Aiko's blog for help. Found this adorable cat called the Pusheen Cat. Aiko had made it a plushie with a back pocket for storage which I thought was cool except the plushie would be tiny and I couldn't think of anything small enough to store in the back. I opted that idea out and just went with making it into a plushie without the pocket.
When I finished it turned out so cute. I added a tail in the back and looking back now I noticed that the Pusheen cat had a chubby tail and my was slightly thin and swirly. Whatever it turned out cute haha. Unfortunately she wasn't there that christmas to receive my gift, but I heard that when she got it she was really happy and showed it off to everyone at her office. Haha
Here's what it looked like:
Sorry for the quality of the pic...
Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I hope you get inspired to make a cute little plushie for someone as a gift or even at random.
God Bless and take care!!
